Young Man's Journey
There is a young man
walking through the mountains of Kumano as if he were obsessed.
The noise, conflicts, envy, stimulation in the cities... from all
those troubles he must have escaped in order to find here the true
meaning of his life. It was a longing to find a deeper meaning to
his existence that made him set out on his journey. This young
man must have started his journey seeking for somewhere where he
could come face to face with his real self, as if he were
attracted by the gods of Kumano. He moves silently through the
deep mountains of Kumano and over the fish-laden rivers. For a
moment he stops, he feels something warm coming up from the
earth, wrapping up his mind and body, and in that moment he
realizes that he is not the only one nurtured by the earth.
